The XR-1 Les Paul is the prelude to the Les Paul Studio. The studio came out in 1983 and so the XR-1 ran from 81-83. It is also arguably better due to non weight relief and the flexibility in pickup selection. As you can see from the specs below they came with a laminated body, however this one has a solid body and comes with the highly coveted dual lead Tim Shaw Dirty Fingers pickups. It has some light nicks,wear and finish checking but it is in overal 9 out of ten condition 9 there are a few light buckle marks by the switch cover on the back as the guitar was worn low. Fantastic shape for a guitar that has been toured with around the world. The guitar weighs in at 9.75 lbs. Comes with the original chainsaw case. Low action and plays great!tion!
